1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ReceiptIQ ("the service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
ReceiptIQ is a personal finance tool that lets you upload receipts, extract line items, categorise spending, and view insights about your purchase history. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
3. Free and Pro subscriptions
- The Free plan includes a limited number of receipt uploads per month.
- The Pro plan unlocks higher limits and additional insights, billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
- You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Account screen — your subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
4. Refund policy
We do not offer refunds on digital subscriptions. You may cancel at any time and you will not be charged for the next billing period. Cancellation does not refund the current period.
5. User responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information.
- Only upload receipts and data that belong to you or that you are authorised to use.
- Not use the service for any illegal purpose, including fraud, money laundering, or tax evasion.
- Not upload fake, doctored, or misleading receipt data.
- Not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
6. Not financial advice
ReceiptIQ is an informational tool. We are not a bank, accountant, tax advisor, or financial advisor. Nothing in the service constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for advice tailored to your situation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptIQ and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a security or legal risk. You may delete your account at any time from the Account screen.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of ReceiptIQ is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
